Cancelled–Pittsburgh Blues and Roots Festival

Saturday, July 25, 2020 through July 26 12:00am - 11:59pm

Due to COVID-19  limitation restrictions, the 2020 Pittsburgh Blues & Roots Festival is cancelled.  This would have been the 4th year for the concert which supports folks on the autism spectrum through the great work of The Autism Society of Pittsburgh and Band Together Pittsburgh. It also featured many performers on the spectrum, proving how talented and gifted “differently abled” people are!

Unfortunately, for the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and Band Together Pittsburgh the Blues & Roots Festival is one of our largest fundraisers and as a result of the cancellation, we will certainly feel the financial pinch as many other organizations have. Together, we offer a wide variety of music programs (open mic performances, DJ training, drum circles, etc.) in support of those on the spectrum. As a matter of fact, you can check out our most recent “Virtual Autism Friendly Open Mic” here –
